Our People
Jenni Marshall
Director
Jenni oversees annual accounts and VAT return preparation for our owner managed business clients, as well dealing with filing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for limited companies. Jenni also advises a number of not-for-profit and charitable organisations on their statutory filing duties. She is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) with nearly 20 years of experience in the profession. Kendal born and bred, she is proud to be able to help local businesses flourish.
Jenni would like to travel the world and while at home enjoys gardening and walking and cycling in the Lakes.
Louise Dawson
Director
Louise takes care of the personal tax aspects of our practice – preparing partnership and personal self-assessment tax returns and advising clients on more complex areas including capital gains tax and inheritance tax. She has a particular interest in trusts and estates. She is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), winning a national prize in 2006. Louise is from a farming family, growing up in Kentmere, and finds it rewarding to be to help set clients' minds at ease.
Louise loves to travel and, when at home, enjoys sewing and fell walking.
Adam Forrest
Accounts Administrator
Adam prepares annual accounts and VAT returns and enjoys liaising with clients on a regular basis to ensure their accounting records are accurate and up-to-date. Adam studied Digital Arts at university, combining two passions – creativity and digital technology. He is currently studying toward his accountancy qualifications.
Adam regularly treats his co-workers to delicious home baking and enjoys crocheting and anything creative.
Ruth Phillips
Receptionist & Administration Assistant
Ruth is the cheerful voice on the phone or bright smile that welcomes you to our office. Ruth is a people-person and ensures that your enquiry is routed to the right member of the team.
In her spare time, Ruth loves socialising with friends and family, walking, discovering new and hidden places, and if that’s too busy, reading a good book.
Sarah Fallows
Payroll Manager
Sarah looks after payroll-related matters for our clients including preparing payslips and reports, submitting your Real Time Information data to HMRC and ensuring your auto-enrolment pension obligations are fulfilled. Sarah also prepares Construction Industry Scheme monthly returns and sub-contractor deduction statements for clients working in the construction industry.
Friendly and sociable, Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends, live music events, walking and keeping fit.

Opening Hours
Please note that from Monday the 5th June 2023 we will be trialling the following new office opening hours. The aim of this change is to hopefully benefit both our clients and our team.
Mon – 9am till 6pm
Tue, Wed and Thurs - 8.30am till 5pm
Fri – 8.30am till 1pm
We are available for appointments outside of these hours on request.
